As with any sport, physical fitness is essential. Below are some resources on training as an athlete (Generally) as well as some points of emphasis for lacrosse goalies.

Being an Athlete

There are many resources out there with regards to athletic training. It can be confusing to know what you should listen to for training. Some good resources are listed here.

If you do go look at other resources (which I recommend), you should look to program for a good balance of everything. Prioritize power, agility, and strength, but don't ignore anything.
